1. Who we are

This website is run by Fitzpatrick Fitters Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 04660213. Our registered office is 67 Anderson Drive, Whitnash, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, CV31 2RN. Our office and postal address is Office 15, Althorpe Enterprise Hub, Althorpe Street, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, CV31 2GB.

We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. That means we decide how it is used and we are responsible for it.

We have written this policy in plain English. It covers this website only.

2. What this website collects

This is a simple website. It has no accounts or log-ins, no online shop, no analytics and no advertising or tracking tools.

We collect personal information in these ways only:

• When you use our contact form. Your name, phone number, email address, company name and your message.
• When you visit any page. Our website is delivered through Cloudflare, which keeps it fast and protects it from attack. To do that, your device's IP address and basic technical details (such as your browser type, the page you asked for and the time) pass through Cloudflare and through our web server. Our web server does not keep a record of every visit. If something goes wrong when a page is requested, it records the error, which can include your IP address.
• On the contact page. A security check called Cloudflare Turnstile reads technical information from your browser, such as your IP address and browser details, to tell real people apart from automated spam. When you send the form, we pass your IP address to Cloudflare to confirm the check was passed.
• If you choose to view the map. See section 5.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to quote for or carry out work. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.

To keep the website and contact form secure and to stop spam and attacks. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our website and the people who use it.

To show you the Google map on our contact page, only if you choose to. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the "Cookie settings" link at the foot of every page.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Do you have to give us your information?

No. Every field on the contact form is needed so that we can reply to you properly, and the form will not send without them. If you would rather not use the form, you can email or phone us instead.

5. Google Maps

The map on our contact page is provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, USA. It does not load unless you allow "Maps" in our cookie choices or click "Show the map". Once it loads, Google receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies. Google is responsible for what it collects and how it uses it. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Who we share your information with

We share it only with the service providers who help us run this website. They act on our instructions.

• RH Elite Services Limited, who build and manage our website and the server it runs on.
• DigitalOcean, LLC, who provide the server. The server is in London.
• Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, who deliver and protect the website and run the Turnstile security check. Cloudflare also uses Turnstile information, as a controller in its own right, to improve its bot detection.
• Elastic Email Inc., a Canadian company, who deliver contact form messages to our email inbox.

We will also share information where the law requires us to.

7. Information sent outside the UK

The server that runs our website is in London.

Cloudflare may process information in the United States and elsewhere. That transfer is protected by the Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum.

Elastic Email may handle contact form messages outside the UK, including in Canada, the United States and the European Union.

If you allow the map, Google LLC handles your information under its own privacy policy.

You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards we rely on, using the contact details in section 1.

8. How long we keep your information

Contact form messages arrive as emails in our inbox and are not stored on the website. We keep them for as long as we need to deal with your enquiry. If your enquiry leads to work, we keep it with our records for that work for as long as we need to for accounting, tax and legal reasons. If it does not, we delete it once we no longer need it to deal with you.

Our web server's error records are deleted automatically within 53 days.

Cloudflare keeps the security information it handles under its own policies, set out at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

9. Your rights

You have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
• ask us to correct it
• ask us to delete it
• ask us to restrict how we use it
• object to us using it
• ask for it in a portable format, where that applies
• withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it (for the map, use "Cookie settings" at the foot of any page). This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first, using the contact details in section 1. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it, keep you informed and tell you the outcome.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commission, the UK's data protection regulator (formerly the Information Commissioner's Office), at ico.org.uk.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how this website uses personal information, we will update this policy and the date at the top.
